Model FC80It is a readily available device installed on the panelFree chlorine analyzer. It is designed to monitor high levels of free chlorine, generate washing water, and other high-dose free chlorine applications. The measurement range of the analyzer is 0.05-200ppm Cl2, and in most applications, the commonly used concentration is between 50 and 200ppm Cl2. For lower range applications of free chlorine and total chlorine, please refer to the standard FC80 free chlorine and TC80 total chlorine analyzers.

FC80 (HR) features a plug and play design that combines a constant head flow control device, pH sensor, chlorine sensor, and T80 controller, making it easy to install on PVC panels. Connect the sampling line and drainage line, connect the power supply and output, and it is ready to use. Calibration is completed through DPD comparison. The free chlorine in the solution exists in a pH dependent ratio of hypochlorous acid (approximately 100% at pH 5) and hypochlorite ions (approximately 100% at pH 10). The free chlorine sensor only measures the hypochlorous acid component in free chlorine, while the analyzer calculates equilibrium using the measured pH value or user-defined fixed value.

The use of pH sensors provides pH compensation for samples with pH between 6 and 9, eliminating the need for expensive sample adjustment systems to control the pH of the solution.

The F80 HR is powered by 110-240VAC or 24VDC and allows for the graphical display of any parameter using user-defined line, bar, or instrument style diagrams. The standard configuration includes (2) 4-20mA output, (3) alarm relay, and MODBUS RTU.
